Behind the Image

Still to this day, one of my favourite images. During my experience in Vail a number of years ago after a fresh snowfall and a moody morning, I took the time to capture this composition as the beautiful spread of trees against the crisp snow and beautiful blue hues of the sky made for such a balanced yet comforting image, despite the setting’s cold nature.
