Behind the Image

During the famous Irish winter of 2010, I was facing the Mayo coastline from Clare Island only to see this incredible stunning panoramic view of the mountains stretching from Croagh Patrick to Mweelrea, encased in a crisp layer of snow. As the sun would illuminate the mountainsides with an amber glow and hues of pinks and purple in the clear winters sky, it will be a sight never to be forgotten.
