The Sky Road
The stunning west coast of Galway during winter’s sunset casts a warm glow over the islets in the distance in one of the most scenic viewpoints in Connemara.
I have taken many a trip out towards Clifden, more often to Inishbofin when I typically head this far west in Connemara. But this particular day I had specifically taken the journey out to capture the light across this rugged coastline that falls below the stunning Sky Road drive that loops around the westerly point of the county outside of Clifden. As this particular location was not too elevated, I wanted to create a panorama of the area that stretches out West revealing the various small islands that adorn the coastline and opting to you the elevated position of a drone helped capture the scene.
