Behind the Image

Co. Kerry is blessed with many fine and extensive beaches with expansive terrain of sand merged with dunes and some that rise into mountainous regions. I have always admired the grasses that so often coat dunes by the shoreline, their pastel hues of green accompanied by the interspersed golden reeds make for a wonderful colour palette. I spent numerous attempts at capturing the soft light of the evening amongst the grasses that capture the elements in this composition.
