Behind the Image
Walking through Galway Wind Park, I wanted to capture the unique identity of the location, a synergy of man-made and natural beauty. I have always found windmills to be a tranquil structure, harnessing the earth’s energy in an eco-friendly manner whilst evoking the form of a flower. With this in mind, I wanted to incorporate the sense of scale with the path and forest surroundings to elicit this idea of a garden, only to be fortunate enough to have the setting bathed in the golden summer sunlight.
