Weather conditions such as these are unpredictable on a small island off the west coast of Ireland, but when they occur I make the most of them. Sitting like a drifting leaf on the ocean, this unique perspective of Clare Island takes on a different form from its iconic silhouette seen from ground level. As the sun dips below the horizon in the distance beyond Achill, the full view of the harbour, Knockmore, and lighthouse can all be seen from this vantage point.
