The view of Diamond Hill and the Twelve Bens from Tully Mountain on this winter’s eve shows the stunning Ballinakill Bay on this frosty winter’s evening. The serenity of this area is mirrored in the stillness of the water as it is as quiet here as it is beautiful.
Behind the Image
Having planned a trip to the furthest western region of Connemara, a brief overnight on Tully Mountain was the setting for some incredible views facing back towards the Twelve Bens. As the winter sun began to set, some of the most beautiful colours covered this rugged landscape. With hardly a breeze and the intense quiet of this tranquil part of Connemara, it truly evoked a wholesome sense of calm.
