Behind the Image

After making a trip to the beautiful Silver Strand, my aerial shots of the location led me to find these beautiful ‘droplets’ resting in the ocean relatively close to the shore. Having been used for sheep farming in days gone by, with each sheep rowed back and forth via a currach, these islets now stand as a mere memory to that tradition and instead enjoy the sights of an Atlantic sunset on this beautiful summer evening.
